Casino software for Africa in 2026: 11 providers checked
By Source Code Review Desk. Published 20 October 2026. Facts checked on provider websites 17-20 October 2026.
Short answer. Of the 11 providers we checked, EveryMatrix shows the most for Africa on its own site: a regional team, a list of active and pipeline markets, mobile money already integrated and named client cases. Gamingtec lists Ghana on its markets map and holds a Sigma Awards Africa 2025 title. Gambling Soft states clients in Africa and is the only one with public prices. The rest do not name Africa as a market on the pages we read.
What makes Africa different
Africa is mobile first. Many players use low-cost Android phones on limited data, so a heavy desktop-style casino loses them on the first page load. Payments are the second filter: mobile money and local e-wallets matter more than cards, and players expect deposits to land at once and withdrawals to be reliable. Sports betting is often the main product, with casino growing next to it.
Regulation is fragmented. South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and other countries each have their own regulator and rules, and in some of them online casino is treated differently from sports betting. Rules and taxes change often, so the platform has to handle new reporting and game approvals without a rebuild.
What to check before you buy
Ask which mobile money operators are already live in your country, not just planned. Test the player site on a cheap Android phone with a slow connection. Ask whether sportsbook and casino run on one wallet and one back office. Ask how the provider handles new tax reports and game approvals when the regulator changes the rules. And ask who holds the licence: under a white label the provider often does, under turnkey or source code you do.
How we compared
We read each provider's own website in October 2026: home pages, market pages, payment and knowledge base sections. We wrote down only what the provider states about itself that relates to Africa: named markets, payment methods, client cases, awards, formats, price and launch time. Where a provider does not name the region on the pages we read, the table says so; that does not mean it has no clients there. Where a site blocked our checker, the row is marked not verified. Industry blog lists were not used as sources. The full method is on our about page.

Provider notes
1. Gambling Soft
The only provider in this list with a public price list. It sells three formats: full source code under a one-time licence with no GGR share, white label and turnkey. It states clients in Africa, the same prices worldwide and a choice of local payment providers and licence for the target market. The platform lists 40,000+ slots and live games from 70+ providers, about 500 payment methods including crypto (USDT, BTC and others), cards and local PSPs, and 60 languages for the player site and back office. Ready packages launch in 7 business days after the first payment. It does not name specific African mobile money operators on its pricing page, so ask which ones are live for your country.
2. EveryMatrix
The most complete Africa offer in the group on the provider's own site: a regional team, a long list of active and pipeline markets, a lightweight mobile front end, retail and omnichannel options, mobile money already integrated and named client cases such as Betsson Cameroon and 888AFRICA. It fits operators who plan regulated markets and have the budget for a large platform. No public price.
3. Gamingtec
Lists Ghana on its markets map and holds the Best Online Sportsbook Provider title from Sigma Awards Africa 2025, which matters in sports-led African markets. It offers white label under its existing licence and turnkey in about 4 weeks. The map does not say which markets are live and which are planned, so ask.
4. SoftSwiss
Publishes a knowledge base guide on starting an online casino in South Africa, but we found no Africa market page or African payment list on the pages we read. Price on request; turnkey launch usually 3 to 8 weeks without the licence.
5 to 11. GammaStack, SoftGamings, Digitain, NuxGame, BetConstruct, Soft2Bet, Slotegrator
These providers may have African clients, but the pages we read do not name Africa as a market or list African mobile money methods. Ask each one for live mobile money integrations and a reference client in your country. Slotegrator blocked our checker, so we could not read its site this time.
How to choose for Africa
Start with the country list and the licence for each one. Then shortlist providers that already have the mobile money operators your players use live in production, and test the player site on a cheap Android phone on a slow connection. If sports betting is your main product, check that sportsbook and casino share one wallet and one back office. On a small budget, a published price saves weeks of sales calls, and source code with no GGR share keeps the software cost flat as revenue grows.
FAQ
Which casino software providers work in Africa in 2026?
Of the 11 providers we checked on 20 October 2026, EveryMatrix has the most detailed Africa page: a dedicated team, active and pipeline markets including South Africa, Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Angola and others, and integrated mobile money methods. Gamingtec lists Ghana on its markets map and won Best Online Sportsbook Provider at Sigma Awards Africa 2025. Gambling Soft states clients in Africa. The other providers do not name Africa as a market on the pages we read.
Why are mobile money payments so important in Africa?
In many African markets most players deposit with mobile money from their phone rather than with a bank card, and they expect instant deposits and fast withdrawals. EveryMatrix lists Multi Caixa, Unitel Money, PayPay Africa, Aki, Vodacom and Orange Money as already integrated. Ask every provider which mobile money operators are live in your target country.
Do I need a local licence to run a casino in Africa?
In regulated markets such as South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana or Kenya you need a licence from the national or state regulator, and the rules for online casino games differ by country. Some operators serve other countries under an offshore licence. Get local legal advice for each market before you launch.
How much does casino software for Africa cost?
Gambling Soft is the only provider we checked that publishes prices: a ready casino with source code from $8,500, the platform at $19,000 and white label at one third of the source code price plus 8% of profit, the same worldwide. The other providers quote on request.
How long does a launch in Africa take?
The software part ranges from 7 business days for Gambling Soft ready packages (usually 1 to 4 weeks depending on package and integrations) and 1 to 4 weeks of SoftSwiss white label onboarding, to 3 to 8 weeks for a SoftSwiss turnkey and 6 to 12+ months for a GammaStack custom platform. EveryMatrix quotes a client who migrated two markets in 10 weeks. Licences and mobile money contracts often take longer than the software.
